Account Deletion
Last updated: August 8, 2026
You're always free to delete your Minday account and stop using the Service. Here's exactly how to do it, and what happens to your data afterward.
How to delete your account
- Log in to Minday.
- Go to Profile & Settings.
- Select Delete Account and confirm with your password.
That's it — no support ticket required. You'll be signed out immediately.
The 90-day grace period
Deleting your account doesn't erase it instantly. It schedules deletion for 90 days later, so a mis-click or change of heart isn't permanent.
Changed your mind? Just log back in. Logging in at any point during those 90 days automatically cancels the scheduled deletion — there's no separate "reactivate" step.
What happens once the 90 days pass
If you don't log back in, here's what happens to your data:
- Your personal space (and any other space where you're the only member) is permanently deleted, along with everything in it — notes, lists, expenses, and dates.
- Shared spaces you're part of are not deleted. If you owned a shared space, ownership quietly passes to the member who's been there longest. The space and everyone else's content in it are untouched.
- Items or expenses you personally created in a shared space stay in place — they aren't deleted or reassigned to someone else — but they'll show as added by "Deleted user" once your account is gone, since the record itself no longer has an owner to point to.
- Your account row, login credentials, and any device push tokens are permanently removed.
Can't log in to delete your account?
If you've lost access to your account and can't sign in to use the self-service flow above, email us at takshaktiwari@gmail.com from the email address associated with the account, and we'll process a deletion request for you manually.
